Outdoor Movie Screen FAQ Guide

Professional Insights on Inflatable Projection Screens & Air Management.

Inflatable Screens: Performance & Durability

Q: What is the maximum wind speed tolerated?

A: Our inflatable screens carry a 35 KPH (approx. 22 MPH) wind rating. They are engineered to be more wind-tolerant than the average movie-goer, ensuring stability for professional outdoor cinema events.

Q: What is the quality of the screen surface?

A: We provide wrinkle-free surfaces. Small screens use theatrical-grade stretch Lycra for a smooth finish. Larger commercial screens use PVC fabric, offering superior color rendering, high contrast, and 4K resolution accuracy.

Q: Why are the tethers/ropes white?

A: Safety first. While black tethers are subtle, they are a tripping hazard in the dark. Our high-visibility white tethers prevent accidents for both children and adults during night-time screenings.

Q: How can I clean the projection fabric?

A: The surface is detachable via zip fasteners. For Lycra screens (up to 6m), you can use a washing machine on a gentle cycle with mild detergent at 30°C. For PVC surfaces, simply wipe with a damp cloth.

Q: How do I add my own branding?

A: The dark "skirt" at the bottom features built-in D-rings. This allows you to easily attach custom banners or sponsor advertisements without blocking the audience's view.

Inflation Blowers & Air Systems

Continuous vs. Sealed Air

Sealed Screens: Inflate once and turn off the blower (similar to an airbed). Ideal for quiet indoor use.
Constant Air: Requires the blower to run continuously (similar to a bouncy castle) to maintain pressure.

Noise Levels

Our high-efficiency blowers are designed for cinema use. The noise level is balanced with ambient outdoor sounds and will not interfere with your audio sound system.
